Now that I've got blog, I can't think of a word to write. Life is good but not too exciting...at least for today. Sun's out full blast. It's a warm and humid day. Thank God for the gentle breeze. Baby mayas are squabbling and pecking at the ripening mangos on the tree outside my "office" window. Coco, my beagle, is lying on her back in her daybed beside my chair. Cooling her tummy, I suppose. What's the point of having a special day to commemorate a historic event if politicians can just willy-nilly shuffle the date and have it right before or after a weekend? Since when should history accommodate for convenience's sake? Besides, there are more urgent matters to attend to than decide when and if the country should have a non-working national holiday. Hay naku...
